Articolo: Durrrr Challenge, altra vittoria per Dwan


Tom "durrrr" Dwan verso la vittoria della sfida contro Patrik Antonius ? Durante le ultime sessione il giovane americano ha sempre chiuso con profitto arrivando ad un vantaggio di oltre $1.7 milioni. Nell' ultima sessione Antonius perde $342,000.

La Durrrr Challenge arriva a quota 33,242 mani giocate (sulle 50,000 in programma) dopo l' ultima sessione dell' 8 marzo. Una sessione da 364 mani giocate che valgono a Tom "durrrr" Dwan un profitto da $342,157. Con quest' ultimo colpo durrrr incrementa il suo vantaggio totale a +$1,755,708.00.

Patrik Antonius non riesce a recuperare quando ci avviciniamo allo sprinti finale della sfida. Ricordiamo che negli accordi della Durrrr Challenge c'e' una scomessa finale, chi riuscira' a chiudere vincente dopo 50,000 mani anche di un solo cent risultera' vincitore e vincera' soldi extra dall' avversario battuto. Antonius vincendo avrebbe ben $1,500,000 in piu' da durrrr che incasserebbe invece un extra di $500,000.

Nell' ultima sessione sono stati giocati piatti molto interessanti. Il piu' ricco e' stato un piatto da $213,785 vinto da durrrr. Siamo ovviamente ad un tavolo PLO $200/$400, durrrr da SB con $125,000 di stack, Antonius da BB con $106,000 stack. Serie di raise pot e re raise pot preflop che portano Antonius a spingere fino a $32,400 nel piatto con durrrr che chiama. Al flop scendono 3-2-9 con due carte a fiori. Il piatto e' gia' da $64,800 ed e' proprio la puntata che effettua Antonius committandosi. Durrrr a questo punto manda i resti per $93,000 e ovvio call di Antonius.


Durrrr mostra una doppia coppia con i suoi 9-7-A-4 double suited, oltre a un progetto a colore nuts grazie all' asso e al quattro di fiori. Patrik Antonius ha solo una semplice coppia di Kappa senza troppe prospettive per migliorare con K-K-6-A single suited. Turn e river non cambiano la situazione e il piatto da $213,785 va a Durrrr.

Articolo: Durrrr Challenge, $230,000 in 10 minuti per Dwan


Questa volta Patrik Antonius capisce che non e' aria ed abbandona subito una nuova sessione della Durrrr Challenge. Peccato che in soli 9 minuti (per un totale di 61 mani giocate) Tom Dwan abbia portato via al finnico ben $230,000. Proprio cosi', la Durrrr Challenge continua a singhiozzo. Questa volta, dopo appena 9 minuti di sessione PLO $200/$400 e 61 mani giocate Patrik Antonius dice basta. In questo breve lasso di tempo, che per molti e' quello che serve per vincere o perdere al massimo qualche centinaio di dollari, Patrik Antonius ha perso la bellezza di $230,000. E' un po' come se Antonius avesse perso in 10 minuti un appartamento bilocale!!!


Con questo ennesimo colpo Tom Dwan aumenta il vantaggio nella Durrrr Challenge su Patrik Antonius fino alla soglia dei $2 milioni di dollari. Per l' esattezza Tom Dwan e' in vantaggio per +$1,986,418.00 mentre lo score di Patrik Antonius segna un impietoso -$1,993,929.00 quando siamo giunti in prossimita' dello sprint finale a 33,303 mani giocate sulle 50,000 in programma. Ricordiamo che durrrr vincendo avrebbe, oltre ai dollari incassati sui tavoli, un extra di $500,000 da parte di Antonius il quale avrebbe invece la posta pagata tre volte tanto ($1,500,000) in caso di vittoria.
